We had a wonderful time. We walked in as a party of 20 and they accompanied us is their party room and the food and service was amazing
Cute restaurant attached to our hotel! I ordered the Gnocchi and it was delicious! Staff were great!
This restaurant is attached to my hotel. I love Italian so had to try it since I have a food and beverage credit to use.. The Food was amazing..delicious and appropriately portioned. The service was quick and the food was hot The ambiance is standard pre war Italian restaurant in NYC but clean and not too busy or loud. Excellent food.
Restaurant is part of the Doubletree hotel. Loved I was able to use my food and beverage credit each night I stayed. Stopped in on the first night and I came in right before it got busy around 6:30ish. My server was very sweet, although I was sitting at the bar he was very attentive. Even when I had an issue with my credit and the date, he offered to call upstairs to fix the issue. Food was pretty good too.
We discovered this place back in 2016 when we got married at the court and invited our friends here for lunch. Since then two things have happened......1) we have been going back every year for our anniversary here, and 2) all our guest from 2016 haven't stopped talking about the food and especially their porterhouse steak. Stefano, our server usually there, we have actually seen him evolve and change as he gets older on our yearly anniversary visit. There are a few other people we look forward to seeing each year we go and smile still knowing they work there. Weekdays are a little more busier for sure verses the weekends being the financial district. But, the food is great! If you are doing a bigger party then they have a nice room in the back where we did our wedding lunch. Oh, there lobster bisque soup is to die for. It's not on the menu but if you as they always have it. This will always be our place for our anniversary dinner as long as we live in NYC or nearby.
Traditional Italian restaurant located in FiDi with great food and no-nonsense service. We started with the fried calamari and baked clams - both solid. For entrees we had the Linguine Vongole, Spaghetti Carbonara and Veal Parmigiana. Both pastas were nicely prepared and the veal was impressive. Worth a visit for a good Italian meal.
